Muskegon Chronicle, Muskegon, Muskegon January 8, 1997  Mrs. Alice Olive Cunningham, age 72, died Tuesday, January  7, 1997.  She Was born in Manistique, Mi on July 28, 1924 to  Howard & Emeline (Reed) Grant.  Mrs. Cunningham worked  for many years as a waitress at El Royal.  Surviviors:  2 sons,  Ralph (Susan Jackman) Cunningham Jr. of White Cloud &  Roger (Marlene) Cunningham of Muskegon; 2 daughters,  Cheryl (George) Scott of Muskegon & Colleen (Kerry) Reed of  Grant, MI; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 sister,  Agnes Oches of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Theodore (Irene) Grant  of Muskegon 7 Homer (Audrey) Grant of Irons, MI; a special  friend, Barbara Cunningham of Muskegon; former husband,  Ralph Cunningham Sr. of Muskegon & numerous nieces &  nephews.  Service:  Friday, January 10,  1997 at 1:00 p.m. at  the Clock Chapel.

C.B.W. Cunningham In Serious Condition   Charles B.W. Cunningham former president of the First State Savings  bank, Muskegon Heights, and a prominent business man here for many years, is in serious condition at his home  at 1717 Peck street, Heights.  Mr. Cunningham who has been in ill health for several months, last night suffered a  stroke of paralysis.

Muskegon Chronicle Wednesday, June 20, 1973 page 38  Cunningham, Mr.Clarence  1020 East Broadway, Norton Shores Mr. Clarence Cunningham, age 76, died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital.  Born in Lake Ann, Michigan, he lived in the Muskegon area since 1917.  He married the former Lila Wetherby (Weatherby) in January of 1919, who survives him.  He was employed as a machinist at Sealed Power for 13 years, and was a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles #2106.  SURVIVORS  His wife, Lila; 6 sons, Ralph, Harold, Ray , Lyman, DeVere and Ronald all of Muskegon; 5 daughters, Mrs. Leona Huddleston; Mrs. Donna Colson, Mrs. Marcella Hart, Mrs. Oscar (Pat) Cooper, and Mrs. Daniel (Sandra) Morin all of Muskegon; 31 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Martha Kuzyk of Muskegon and Mrs. Tony (Ella) Schipper of Flint.  SERVICE  The funeral arrangements for Mr. Cunningham will be announced later by the

Muskegon Chronicle Oct. 7, 1950 page 2  Mrs. Cunningham 81, dies at Home  Mrs. Ellen T. Cunningham, 81 years old, 2707 Vulcan Street, a resident here for the past several years after coming from North Manitou Island, died yesterday in Hackley Hospital after being stricken by a heart attack at her home.  Born Dec. 2, 1868 (1871) in Benzie County.  She lived for several years at Lake Ann.  She moved to North Manitou Island in 1914.  Formerly Miss Ellen Archer, she was married in 1890 (1891) to Melvin O. Cunningham at Manistee.

She leaves her husband; three sons, Clarence and Melvin, both of Muskegon, and Charles, of Holland; five daughters, Mrs. Sara Springetti of Chicago, Mrs. Maude Newman, of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ella Dubey of Flint, Mrs. Grace Rayment and Mrs. Martha Foster, both of Muskegon; one brother, Charles Archer of Brethern and 28 grandchildren, 35 great-grand-children and two great-great-grand-children.

MRS. EVELYN A. CUNNINGHAM   Mrs. Evelyn A. Cunningham, 73 years old, died Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Audrey Dexterhouse, 1676 Terrace street, following a short illness.   Mrs. Cunningham was born in Nashville, Feb. 12, 1872, and lived in Indiana and Ohio, and, for the past 30 years in Michigan.  She came to Muskegon ywo years ago.   She was married to Myron U. Nelson in LaGrange, Ind. in 1889.  He died in June, 1926.  She was married to Lyman Cunningham in June, 1935.  Mr. Cunningham died two years ago.   She leaves five sons, Ian A. Nelson, Puellop, Wash.,; Cloyse Nelson, Fife Lake; Clare V. Nelson, Flint,; Maurice E. Nelson, Buchanan; Myron Nelson, Muskegon; three daughters, Mrs. Goldie Martindale, Harrison; Mrs. Hortense Begalke, Muskegon, and Mrs. Dexterhouse; 28 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Muskegon  Mr. Harold E. Cunningham, age 77, died suddenly early Friday morning, June 29, 2001, & will be deeply missed by his sisters & brothers.  He was born in Flint, MI on October 23, 1923, to Clarence & Lila (Weatherby) Cunningham.  Mr. Cunningham had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors & in maintenance for the City of Muskegon.  He enjoyed his family & reading.  SURVIVORS  He is survived by his 5 sisters, Patricia Cooper, Leona Seabolt, Donna VanderHeuval, Marcella (Gaylord) Hart & Sandra Morin, all of Muskegon; 3 brothers, Ralph Cunningham, Devere (Betty) Cunningham & Ron (Darlene) Cunningham all of Muskegon; a sister-in-law, Marge Cunningham also of Muskegon, as well as many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Raymond & Lyman Cunningham & by a brother-in-law, Oscar Cooper.SERVICE  Monday, July 2, 2001, 2:00 pm at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Ira Cunningham, 84, Dies at Hart.  Resident Since 1864 Was Active in Civic Affairs. 

By Staff Correspondent.  Hart, Jan. 1.—Ira Cunningham, 84 years old, pioneer Hart resident, died at his home here Sunday night after a short illness.  Born March 15, 1859 in Leelanau county, Michigan, he came to this county at the age of five with his parents in 1864, and has resided continuously in Hart since.  In 1879 he was married to Sarah Wright of Brussels, Canada.  She died April 23, 1925.  Mr. Cunningham was a member of the Hart Odd Fellows lodge and formerly was active in civic affairs here.  Surviving are two sons, Ray of Hart, and William of Nashville, Mich.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. from the Brokering Funeral home.  Rev. John Gerhing will be in charge and burial will be in the Hart cemetery.

in Custer, MI on December 20, 1903, to John & Minnie (Brown) Weatherby &  married Clarence M. Cunningham on January 23, 1918, in Muskegon.  Mrs. Cunningham was a homemaker & enjoyed polka, music and dancing, bingo & bowling.  Most of all, she enjoyed her family & will be deeply missed by her children & grandchildren.  SURVIVORS  4 sons, Ralph Cunningham, Harold Cunningham, Devere (Betty) Cunningham & Ronald (Darlene) Cunningham, all of Muskegon; 5 daughters, Leona Seabolt, Donna VanderHeuvel, Marcella (Gaylord) Hart, Patricia (Oscar) Cooper & Sandra Morin, all of Muskegon 2 daughter in lawsMarjorie Cunningham & Marlene

Muskegon Chronicle Monday, March 19, 1951 page 19  M.O. Cunningham Dies in Heights  Melvin O. Cunningham, 88 years old, 1528 Glade Street, Muskegon Heights, a resident here since 1918 after coming from North Manitou Island, died   Saturday at his home after a long illness.  Born Sept. 29, 1862, in Toronto, he first moved to Manistee.  He moved to  Lake Ann in 1895 and to North Manitou Island in 1914.  He was married in Manistee in 1890 (1891) to Miss Ellen T. Archer.  Mrs. Cunningham died Oct. 6, 1950.  He was a member of the Methodist Church in Manistee.   He leaves three sons, Clarence and Melvin O. Jr. both of Muskegon Heights, and Charles of Holland; five daughters, Mrs. Sarah Springetti of Chicago, Mrs. Maude Newman of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ella Dribey of Flint, and Mrs. Grace Rayment and Mrs. Martha Foster, both of Muskegon: and 28 grandchildren and 36 great-grand-children.
