Mrs. Collee Dies at 80.  Mrs. Jennie Collee, 790 Washington Ave., died at Park View Nursing Home Thursday, after an illness of 10 weeks.  She was 80.  Born July 8, 1883 in the Netherlands, Mrs. Collee came to the U. S. in 1909, settling in Grand Rapids.  From there, she moved to Chicago in 1913, and came to Muskegon in 1930.  The former Jennie Vanderball was married to John Hendrick Collee in the Netherlands in September 1903.  Mr. Collee died in 1938.  She is survived by one son, J. C. Collee of Norton Township; a brother, Theodore Vanderball of Montague; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Mickelson of Grand Haven, Miss Johanna Vanderball and Mrs. Gertrude Koolschyn, both in the Netherlands, and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral rites set for John C. Collee, ex-businessman.  A memorial service will be held Friday for John C. Collee, former owner of J. C. Collee & Son Floor Covering, who died Wednesday at the age of 80.  Collee, who was a member of “Music Makers,” a group of senior citizens who performed for patients in area nursing homes, and the Muskegon Lodge No. 140 F. & A. M., came to Grand Rapids from Delft, the Netherlands, in 1908, and moved to Muskegon in 1939.  He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; a son, C. J. Collee, two stepsons, Robert A. Orcutt of North Muskegon and Michael A. Orcutt of Texas and three stepdaughters, Mary Lou Houston, Peggy J. Sharlow and Susan Meyers, all of Muskegon.  The Rev. Norman Yeager and Masonic Lodge No. 140 will officiate at the memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Lee Funeral Home.  Arrangements by Lee.

COLLEE, MR. JOHN C., Muskegon.  Mr. John C. Collee, age 80, died Wednesday morning at his residence following a lingering illness.  He was born June 29, 1908 in Delft, The Netherlands, coming to Grand Rapids as an infant moving to Muskegon in 1939.  He married the former Louise VanderHorst who preceded him in death in 1983.  He later married Geraldine Beardsley in Muskegon in 1987.  Mr. Collee was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He was a member of the “Music Makers” and the Muskegon Lodge No. 140 F. & A.M.  Mr. Collee was the former owner of J.C. Collee & Son Floor Covering.  SURVIVORS include his wife Geraldine; 1 son, C. J. Sonny (Tasi) Collee of N. Muskegon; 2 step-sons, Robert A. Orcutt of Muskegon and Michael A. Orcutt of Texas; 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Houston, Peggy J. Sharlow and Susan Meyers all of Muskegon; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at the Lee Funeral Home Friday 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Mr. Collee Dies at 56.  Joseph Collee, 56, of 790 Washington Ave., for 15 years a stockman at Sealed Power Corp., died Sunday at Hackley Hospital after a short illness.  Mr. Collee came to Muskegon 30 years ago from Grand Rapids.  He was born Aug. 1, 1905, at Delft, the Netherlands, coming to this country as a child.  He attended schools at Chicago, later moving to Grand Rapids.  Mr. Collee never married.  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jennie Collee of Muskegon; and a brother, John Collee of Muskegon.

JOSEPH, 790 Washington Ave.  Mr. Joseph Collee, age 56, passed away Sunday morning at Hackley Hospital.  The funeral service for Mr. Collee will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o’clock from the Clock Chapel with the Rev. T. M. Wright officiating.  Interment will be made in Fruitland Township Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Clock Funeral Home.  —Clock.

North Muskegon   Mr. Cornelius J. “Sonny” Collee, P.M., age 74, died unexpectedly  Saturday morning, June 9, 2001 at his residence.  He was born July 28, 1926 in  Chicago, IL and came to Muskegon with his parents, John C. and Louise (VanderHorst)  Collee.  He graduated from Whitehall H.S. in 1944 and married the former Stella M.  “Tasi” Gluc in Muskegon in January 1957.  She preceded him in death on September  11, 1992.  Mr. Collee owned and operated Collee Floor Covering until his retirement in  1991.  He was Past Master of the Muskegon Masonic Lodge No. 140.  An active member  of the Scottish Rite and the York Rite and was formerly active with the Shriners.  Mr.  Collee owned and operated Tason Kennels and was a breeder of Bassett Hounds.  He  was active in the American Kennel Club, also an AKC judge and was active with the  Muskegon Kennel Club.  SURVIVORS: his son, David (Patricia) Collee and  granddaughter, Kristen Marie Collee all of Muskegon.  The FUNERAL SERVICE will be  held Thursday 1:0 P.M. at the Lee Funeral Home with Rev. John Brown officiating.  A  Masonic Service will also be held at that time.  VISITATION: Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.   INTERMENT: Fruitland Township Cemetery.  MEMORIALS: Masonic Foundation for  Childhood Diabetes.  —Lee (733-2152)

COLLEE, MRS. STELLA “TAST” M., N. Muskegon.  Mrs. Stella “Tasi” M. Collee, age 69, died early Friday morning at a local hospital following a short illness.  The former Stella M. Gluc was born November 8, 1922 in Muskegon and married Cornelius “Sonny” J. Collee in January 1957.  She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was active in Christian Services and the Church Guild.  She was also a member of the Polish National Alliance.  SURVIVORS: her husband Cornelius; 1 son, David J. Collee of Muskegon; 1 granddaughter, Kristen M. Collee of Whitehall; 1 brother, Joseph Gluc of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Mrs. Marion (Henry) Falkowski and Mrs. Wanda Wyant, both of Muskegon Hts., and Mrs. Florence (Lacy) Sciame of Rockford, IL; and many nieces & nephews.  The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Monday 11:00 A.M. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1110 Dykstra Rd., with Fr. Melvin E. Fox as celebrant.  INTERMENT: Fruitland Township Cemetery.  PRAYER SERVICE: Sunday evening 7:00 P.M.  VISITATION: Sunday 6-9 P.M.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince of Peace Memorial Fund.  —Lee (733-2152)
