Randy graduated from Alva High School in 1992 (his senior picture is shown above) and from the University of Oklahoma in 1997; he completed a master's degree in voice at the University of Houston in 2004. He taught vocal music at Whittier Middle School and Norman High School in Norman, OK, and sings with the Desert Chorale (Santa Fe, NM).
