Notes: Elizabeth Clark survived her first husband and married John Hampton (both men were murder victims); shortly before she died, the Aline Chronoscope newspaper ran a series of articles about her life. She was "Woods County's Oldest Citizen" when she died at age 107. The articles have been collected; click links above to read the stories. (ADDITION: I have discovered links to other branches of the CLARK family, with evidence that Elizabeth was born in 1834 instead of 1816, so that she was not a centenarian when she died).
