Notes:  This photo was taken August 4th, just over two weeks before Patrick was born. Mom was obviously uncomfortable at this point. I accompanied her to a doctor's appointment and the doctor let me see a sonogram of Patrick in the womb, an awesome experience for this Grandpa!  Born at Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, TX, Patrick weighed 9 pounds and 9.4 ounces and was 21 inches long ~ "The King of the Nursery" ~ both sets of grandparents were there, as were Uncle Randy and Aunt Cathy.  Patrick's "unveiling" ~ taken in the hospital room after we'd first unwrapped him to get a closer look! He's resting comfortably in Mom's lap! |
