2. This cemetery was initially at the location of the commemorative stone beside St. John’s Lutheran
Cemetery on Silver Lake Rd., and was only used for fourteen years. There are no other existing stones.
Kornil Mielke, who is the keeper of records for Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Augsberg very kindly supplied
the list of individuals known to be buried in the original plot(s). The scrolls presented are
transcript reproductions.
*****Directions*****
At the Bank of Montreal in Eganville, turn onto Water St. which then becomes the Augsberg Rd. Drive
approximately 6.8 km to Silver Lake Rd. The commemorative stone can be seen from the intersection.
Credit is given to
D i a n e D i l l o n who generously and enthusistically volunteered to help out by typing
the scrolls for this cemetery and also cropping and re-naming scrolls. Her hard work, dedication and
patience has been priceless to me and many other grateful researchers.
