I am a firm believer in keeping Genealogy free except in exceptional circumstances where large sites like "ANCESTRY.COM" sell access to absolutely
huge databases. These databases could save a researcher of U.S., U.K. and Canadian vital statistics, a lifetime of searching libraries and other archives.

Since the start of this web site I have been encouraged with the positive comments from visitors. Many of these positive messages
are included in the Guestbook on the Front Page and others are still coming into my inbox via private email.

This encouragement has been the primary incentive for me to continue tramping through these cemeteries, braving the elements,
digging out partially covered stones, avoiding sinking graves, avoiding black bears, dodging horse and deer flies and ultimately
collecting and recording over 300,000 photographs in approximately nine years.

I am now travelling 80 - 100 miles or more in all directions from North Bay to acquire photos from unphotographed cemeteries.
For instance....I have now reached Huntsville to the South....Cobalt to the North.....Sudbury to the West.....and Arnprior to the East.

The effect on my pocket book has been significant. My highest cost is...GASOLINE for my car..!!!! I will continue to travel
these distances and I am bound and determined to keep this site free..but..obviously these high costs will slow my progress.

Some visitors have volunteered to photograph gravemarkers in their town and send the photos to me and that is great and genuinely
appreciated. Some other folks have expressed an interest in "pitching in" to help defray some of these costs for which I am grateful.

After thinking for a while about the mechanics of accepting support it seems to me that anyone interested could send a gas card
