Narrative on Voluntary Assistance

*****Important Note*****

Please note that access to this site has always been free and will continue to be free. I am a firm believer
in keeping Genealogy free except in exceptional circumstances where large sites like "ANCESTRY.COM" sell
access to absolutely huge databases. These databases could save a researcher of U.S., U.K. and Canadian vital
statistics, a lifetime of searching libraries and other archives.

More information..............!

Since the start of this Gravemarker website it has been encouraging to receive comments from visitors.
***
This encouragement has been the primary incentive to continue tramping through these cemeteries,
braving the elements, digging out partially covered stones, avoiding sinking graves, snakes and bears;
dodging horse, deer, black flies and mosquitoes and collecting and recording over 300,000 photographs
during the last ten years. This free-access Canada-wide website is a huge challenge but worthwhile,
according to considerable positive feedback received from many grateful website visitors.
***
Some visitors have volunteered to photograph gravemarkers in their town and send in the photos, which
is very thoughtful and genuinely appreciated. Some other folks have expressed an interest in "pitching in"
to help defray some of the costs. Their financial assistance, or gas cards to offset travelling expenses
to reach unphotographed cemeteries, is very kind, extremely helpful and much appreciated.
***
After thinking for a while about the mechanics of accepting assistance it seems that anyone interested
in helping, could send a Gas Card or Cheque to..
