Reichmann - Deep solemnity marked the funeral rites which were held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. for the late Jacob Reichmann at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Bronner, 106 North Fourth avenue. The services were conducted by Rev. J. Ambrose Dunkel of the Warren avenue Presbyterian church. The deceased had during his long residence here of over a half century gathered about him a large friendship and those the spacious home was hardly able to accommodate. The floral offerings were fine and profuse. The arion quartet effectively rendered the hymns, "Nearer My God to Thee," "Lead Kindly Light," "Going Down the Valley." At the conclusion of the rites at the home a long cortege of friends followed the remains to their final resting place in the family lot in Forest Lawn cemetery, where in a bed of flowers the venerable man was laid at rest beside his wife. The remains were carried hence by Wm. Mueller, H. Elwart, Wm. Kremer, F. Narten, C. Wassermann, N. Hertzberg. The funeral was held under the auspices of the East Side Arbeiter society.
