DeGeus, Carl H., St. Charles, Michigan.
Passed away Tuesday morning, May 3, 1988, at St. Mary's Medical Center after a brief illness. Age 79 years. He was born on Dec. 4, 1908 to Leonard and Maude Cady DeGeus. He was a farmer all of his life and worked at Eaton Manufacturing a few years before entering the service during World War II. He served in Saipan in the South Pacific. He was a charter member of the V.F.W. Post No. 5695 in St. Charles. He married Mildred Memmer Aug. 30, 1941. She survives him along with three children, Geriann and Ken Green, Midland, Texas; Carl and Charlotte DeGeus, St. Charles; Linda Gamache, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Toni, Gayle and K.C. Green, Amy and Jennifer DeGeus and Manda Gamache; one brother, Leonard and Maxine DeGeus, St. Charles; three sisters, Jeanne Tribfelner, Wixom Lake; Harriet and Charles Murphy, St. Charles; Mary and Fordney Volkmer, Chesaning; one sister-in-law, Ethel DeGeus, Joliet, Ill. One brother Lester predeceased him.
Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 1988, at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Foundation.

Deibel, Mrs. Helen M., 1532 Brockway Street.
Passed away Saturday at her residence after an illness of seven years. Helen M. Schaitberger was born in Saginaw, and had been a resident all of her life. She is the widow of John H. Deibel, to whom she was married Dec. 16, 1932, in Saginaw. He passed away Jan. 26, 1963. Surviving are one daughter and one son, Mrs. John King and Harry O. Laatsch, both of Saginaw; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Irene Salow, Saginaw.
Funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Shea Funeral Home. Dr. Henry W. Fischer will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday.

Deibel, John H., 1532 Brockway Street.
Passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Age 72 years. He was born Feb. 5, 1890, in Saginaw, where he resided his entire life. He married Helen M. Laatsch here Dec. 16, 1932. She survives him. He was a member of the Moose and Masonic Lodges. He was Saginaw County auditor at the time of his death. Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter and one son, Mrs. John King and Harry O. Laatsch, both of Saginaw; three grandchildren; also three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Edith Carr, Lansing; Mrs. B. Compau, Saginaw; Mrs. L. Davis and Albert Deibel,living in Florida.
Funeral announcement will be made later by the Shea Funeral Home.

Mrs. Melvin Duve, 18, of 1504 North Sixteenth street, died Wednesday at Saginaw General hospital. Mrs. Duve, whose maiden name was Lila Eisenhauer, was born October 12, 1912, in Albee township and was married last year to Melvin Duve. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Shirley Jean, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eisenhauer, five sisters, Mrs. Edward Starr of Owosso, Mrs. Otis Thomas and Miss Lucille Eisenhauer of Saginaw, Miss Marie and Miss Ruth Eisenhauer of Chesaning, and three brothers, William and Martin of Saginaw and Edward of Chesaning.
Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at her home and at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity church with Rev. A.F. Bernthal officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
