Mt. Zion
Cemetery Association
The Mt. Zion Cemetery Association is an unofficial,
loosely organized group of people concerned with the care and upkeep of
Mt. Zion Cemetery in Marshall Twp., Lawrence Co., IN.
There is no board of directors at this time and the title, Mt, Zion
Cemetery Association, is mainly a name under which to communicate our
concerns and hopes for the future of this nearly forgotten cemetery.
My name is Brad Manzenberger and I have taken it upon myself to at
least try to restore, or organize a restoration of Mt. Zion. My
interest in this particular cemetery is that I have family buried
there, including my sixth-great-grandfather, Israel Jennings, a
veteran of the American Revolution.
