    RESEARCH ROOM.

      Attached to the Museum is our Genealogy Research Room, which contains one of the best collections of microfiche and microfilm records held anywhere outside the capital cities. Refer to our Library catalogue Library

      More than one hundred of our members are actively engaged in family history research.

      We also maintain a comprehensive collection of files on local pioneer families.

      The Society is an Agent for LDS Library

      Family research will be conducted on behalf of visitors or interested correspondents. A fee of $20 is charged for each specific piece of research.

      The Research Officer will conduct the search of our records and will provide a written report of any findings.

    LOCAL FAMILIES.

      Published histories of local families are housed in the Research Room.

      Files on local families are held in the Museum, but may only be accessed through the research officer.

      The Museum has produced a Pioneer Index of district inhabitants to 1900.
