Descendants of Emerence Tessier

Emerence Tessier was the mother of Caroline Neveu who married Joseph St. George, and she was the mother of Emma Corriveau who married Joseph's brother Phillip St. George. In 1930 when Evelyn Ordner nee Gagne intereviewed Caroline Neveu, she also listed her Neveu and Corriveau siblings and their descendants. Caroline is known to have made trips to northwestern Minnesota, to Bagley and perhaps Crookston, to visit her siblings and in-laws. The solutions to many St. George family mysteries were in part due to connections with 3rd and 4th cousin Neveus and Corriveaus who found me on the Internet.

Generation One

1. Emerence¹ Tessier was born on 11 February 1818 at St.Elizabeth, Joilette, Canada. She married Timothee Neveu, son of Louis Neveu and Charlotte Beauquin dit St. Andre, on 21 November 1843 at St.Melanie Co., Joilette, Québec, Canada. She married Eli Corriveau at Upper Canada. She died.
Timothee Neveu was born on 24 January 1817 at St.Jacques de l'Achigan, Québec, Canada. He married Louise Rivest, daughter of Louis Rivest and Marie Huno, on 22 February 1841 at St. Paul de Joliette, Québec, Canada. He died.
The six known children of Emerence¹ Tessier and Timothee Neveu were as follows:

i. Theophile² Neveu was born in 1844. He died.
