Runge, Enke, Brower and Benson GenealogyNote: This site is under construction. Please be patient! I know that the world was created by God because the Bible says so, and I know that Adam was created by God (Genesis 1), but I have been unable to find my ancestral connections from Adam. I also know, from the book of Luke, that Jesus Christ was miraculously born of the virgin Mary. Even though that was several years later, I still have not found my name in a list of descendants. Therefore, I decided that I needed to look in other places for my ancestors. Thus became this insatiable desire to find out “Who am I and where did I come from?” Of course, as you know if you are looking in the “Genealogy Websites”, that siblings and marriages at every generation can multiply the complexity of the task and place many “roots and branches” on a family tree. What started out as a search for our grandparent’s families, has grown into more than just the Runge & Enke ancestors and the Brower & Benson ancestors. This has resulted in sleepless nights because “that latest E-mail may be from a new cousin”. This website is meant to provide you with some information on my relatives, and hopefully, I will find someone that can fill in the voids in my ancestral tree. I say “Thank You” to the many relatives and cyber-relatives for the information, photographs, and maps to help describe our families. I have not personally read all of the source material.
