"Letter from Ruth (Newcomer) Joyner to Rex Newcomer", dated August 26, 1984.
"...Ulrich and Christian Neukomm lived, before emigrating, in the villages of
Corgemont and Cormoret, near Biel (Bienne) in the Northwest corner of the
Canton of Bern." Davis says this is the Christian on the 1754 Phoenix. We
believe that to be very probable.

Newspaper Editor. Author of "Record of One Branch of the Newcomer Family";
(Compiled and published in 1882.) [New-FR-JKN]. James K. Newcomer's
obituary mentions being survived by "one grandson". That grandson would have
to be either Cora Jane or Eliza Addie's son. We know not which at this time.
