THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Henry Wood of Great Chart in the County of Kent Yeoman, I devise and bequeath all my real and Personal Estate unto James Obben of Ripton Farm in the Parish of Ashford in the said County forever absolutely but as to estates vested in me upon trust or by way of mortgage or subject to the equities affecting the same respectively and I appoint abovesaid James Obben sole Executor of this my will and hereby revoking all other wills I declare this to be my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirteenth day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty eight - H. WOOD signed by the said Edward Wood the Testator as and for this last will and testament in the presence of both of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other do attest and subscribe the same

On the 14th July 1855 administration (with the will annxed) of the goods chattels and credits of Henry Wood late of Great Chart in the county of Kent Yeoman widower was granted to Martha Norton (wife of James Norton) one of the nataural and lawful children of the said deceased having been first sworn by ... duly to administer. James Obben as sole Executor and the Universal Legatee named in the said will having been first named the probate and execution thereof and also the Letters of administration (with the said will annnexed) of the goods of the said deceased (as b acts of Court appearing_
