IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Benjamin Woodger Mariner on board the Royal George Pacquet being in Bodily Health and of Sound and Disposing Mind and Memory and considering the Perils and Dangers of the Seas and other Uncertainties of this Transitory life Do for Avoiding Controversies after my Decease make Publish and Declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First I recom[m]end my Soul to God that Gave it and my Body I commit to the Earth or Sea as it Shall please God to Order and as for and concerning all my Worldly Estate I Give bequeath and Dispose thereof as followeth that is to say

to my Dear and Well beloved Wife Hannah Woodgeer living at Deptford in the parish of Saint Nicholas in Kent all my Wages Sum and Sums of Money Lands Tenements Goods Chattels and Estate whatsoever as Shall be anyways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my Decease I do Give devise and Bequeath the same unto my Dearly Beloved Wife Hannah Woodyeer living at Deptford in Kent And I do hereby Nominate and Appoint my Dearly beloved Wife Hannah Woodyeer as above Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and Deeds of Gift by me at any time heretofore made And I do Ordain and Ratify these Presents to stand and be for and as my only last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof to this my said Will I have set my hand and Seal the Twenty third Day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty one and in the First year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Third over Great Britain Benjamin Woodger Signed Sealed Published and Delivered in the presence of Witness Jno Dobson Richd Shokowe?

On the Eighth Day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty four Administration with the Will annexed of the Goods Chattels and Credits of Benjamin Woodger otherwise Woodyer otherwise Bodyer late of Deptford in the County of Kent formerly belonging to the East India Merchant Ship Royal George but on board His Majestys Ship America Deceased was Granted to Deborah Michell Widow the Administration with the Will annexed of the Goods of Hannah Woodyer Widow deceased whilst living the Relict of the said deceased Sole Executrix and Universal Legatee named in the said Will having first Sworn duly to Administer for that the said Hannah Woodyer Dyed before She had taken upon her the execution of the said Will
