This is the last Will and Testament of me William Tomsett of Maidstone in the County of Kent Yeoman made and executed this seventh day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty three

First I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences be duly paid and satisfied and subject thereto I do hereby give devise and bequeath all and every my freehold and leasehold estate and estates household furniture plate linen china and other effects together with my ready money securities for money and all and every my real and personal property whatsoever that I may die possessed of or entitled to at the time of my decease in any way howsoever and wheresoever unto my dear wife to and for her own use absolutely and for ever and to be by her disposed of either by deed or will as she shall direct will or appoint in or in any way she shall think proper

but in case of the death of my dear wife without making any such deed or will then I give devise and bequeath all and every the property that shall at that time remain to my nephew Alfred Brooker his heirs executors and administrators and assigns absolutely

and I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife sole Executrix of this my Will

and hereby revoking and making void all former and other Will or Wills by me made do declare this paper writing contained in one sheet of paper to be and contain my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have set my hand the day and year first above written The mark and seal of X William Tomsett
