In the name of God Amen The Eleaventh day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred Fiftie seaven I William Solman of Yalding in the Countie of Kent Yeoman being att this present of sound and perfect minde and memorie for which I praise God but weake in Bodie and expecting the tyme of my dissolution to draw nigh doe there fore make and declare this to be my Testament and last Will in manner and forme following First and principally I will and resigne my Soule into the hands and gracious acceptance of Almightie God my Maker hoping and assuredly trusting to have the pardon and remission of all my Sinns and eternall Salvation by the only merrits death and passion of his dearely beloved sonne Jesus Christ And my bodie I Committ to the Earth in decent manner to be buried att the discretion of mine Executrix hereafter named And as concerning the Goods personall Estate and Chattells which God hath lent mee I will give and dispose of the same as followeth (that is to say)

I will and give unto my Three Sisters Alice Solman Sarah the wife of John Davye and Marie Solman in remembrance of them Twentie shillings a peece to be paid unto them by mine Executrix within one yeare next after my decease

Alsoe to enable Anne my deare and loving Wife to pay and discharge my debts and Legacies and to recompence her for her love and paines by her to mee shewed in my sicknes I give and leave to the said Anne my wife All my Goods houshold stuffe Cattle Corne Stocke Leases debts and Chattells of what nature or kinde soever And I make and ordaine the said Anne my wife to be the full and Sole Exexcutrix of this my Testament and last Will

This is alsoe the last will of mee William Solmon made and declared the day and yeare first above written touching the ordering and disposing of all And singular my Tenements and Lands with theire hereditaments and Appurtenances (That is to say)

I will devise and give unto Walter Pearson sonne of Walter Pearson by Elizabeth my Sister and to the heires and assignes of the said Walter the Sonne one Little Messuage or Tenement and Two little peeces or parcells of Land with Thappurtenances Contayning by estimation one Acre Scituate lying and being neare Halestreete in the parish of East Peckham in the said County of Kent and now in the Tenure or occupation of Richard Tebb or his assignes To hold to the only use and behoofe of the said Walter Pearson the sonne his heires and assignes for ever Provided alwaies and my will and minde is that the said Walter Pearson the Father and Elizabeth his wife my Sister Shall or may have hold receive and take the use occupation rents and profitts of my said Messuage or Tenement and Land untill the age of one and Twenty yeares to be attayned by theire said sonne

Alsoe I will devise and give to the said Anne my wife and to her heires and assignes for ever One Messuage or Tenement with the Barnes Edifices buildings Closes gardens Orchards and Severall peeces or parcells of Land arable meadowe and pasture with theire and everie of theire hereditaments containing in the whole by estimation forty and Three Acres Scituate lying and being in the severall parishes of Eastpeckham aforesaid and Netlestet in the said County of Kent and now in the Tenure or occupation of William Huggins or his assignes And all other my Lands and Tenements not before herein otherwise devised And all my Reversion Estate and Title in and to the same To hold to the only use and behoofe of the said Ann my Wife and of her heires and assignes for ever

In witnesse whereof I the said William Solman have hereunto sett my hand and seale the said Eleaventh day of Aprill One Thousand six hundred Fiftie Seaven William Solman his marke Read sealed published and declared by the said William Solman to be his Testament and last Will in the presence of
Stephen Stanford his marke George Hooper and Henry Sutten
