Margaret Rusel Widow weak in Body, but in perfect Soundness of Mind make this my last Will and Testament as follows, ffirst I surrender my Soul into the hands of God that made it, hoping for acceptance and favour with him through the death of Jesus Christ who is the propitiation for our Sins, As for my worldly goods I dispose of them as follows.

First I bequeath and give after my decease the sum of Ten pounds with half my wearing clothes and the least trunk to my granddaughter Mary Wendy; to my grandson Jeremy son of Jeremy Brattle and Mary his wife the sum of ten pounds.

Item I give to my daughter Mary the wife of Jeremy Brattle the sum of ten pounds and the other half of my wearing clothes and the bigger Trunk, over and above this I give and bequest to the aforesaid Mary my daughter the wife of Jeremy Brattle one half of the remainder of my goods and chattels and the other half of said goods & chattels I give and bequest after my decease to my son John Wendy,

and I order and desire my son-in-Law Jeremy Brattle to be Executor of this my will testament. In Testimony of all which I have set hereunto my mark on this 11th day of May in the year of our Lord 1707. In the presence of Margaret Russel - her mark - Witnesses
