In the name of God Amen the 31st day of January in the year of our Lord God 1564
I Edward Leeds being in perfect mind & memory do make this my last will & testament First I bequeath my soul to our Lord Jesus Christ my body to be buried within the church yeard of Rolvenden.

Item I bequeath to the poor mans box 3s 4d.
Item I bequeath to Joan Everenden sometime my servant £3 within one year after my decease And if she die before to remain to her heirs.

Item I give to Alice Bete my servant 20s to be paid within one year
And if Alice Bete die before the year be expired that then it shall be remain to Joan Evenden.

Item I give to Margaret Leeds a cow within one year.
Item I give to Barbara Crottall 10s to be paid within a year.
Item I give to Marie Crottall 10s within a year.
Item I give to John Crottall the younger 10s within a year after my decease to be paid every one.
Item I give to Joan Everenden my great red cow continent after my decease.

Item I give William Leeds the elder of Benenden my horse.
Item I give Walter Leeds of Benenden 20s to be paid within a year after my decease.
Item I give to Christopher Leeds of Allington 20s to be paid within one year.
Item I give to Garves Leeds of Ashford 20s.
Item I give to Walter Carterís wife 10s.

Item I give to Joan my wife all my goods my debts being paid and also I do make Joan my wife sole executrix of paying all my bequests within one whole year after my decease
