This is the last Will and Testament of me HENRY MAY INGE of the Parish of Barham in the County of Kent in the manner following.

I HENRY MAY INGE do give devise and bequeath unto my Wife SARAH all my freehold messuages carpenters shop with the lands and hereditaments situate lying and being in the Parish of Barham and now in the occupation of myself HENRY MAY INGE WILIAM SMITH JOHN PEPPER SARAH FRYER together with all my ready money and book debts for my said wife to bring up my children.

Or in case it shall be thought by Executors to be more beneficial to my Wife to let the said tenements with the carpenters shop that she my said Wife may acquire the Rents and Proceeds to bring up my children.

And at the decease of my Wife the whole of my property to be equally divided between my children vizt ELIZABETH COOPER HENRY COLYER MAY & EDW1N share and share alike.

And I do nominate and appoint RICHARD BARBER and FRANCIS HEWSON joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament whereof I the said Testator have to my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this 20th Day of January 1856.

Signed Sealed and Declared by me the said HENRY MAY INGE as and for my last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
