In the name of god amen I Stephen Harpe of the parish of Biddenden Husbandman do ordain and make this my last will and testament First I bequeath my soul unto almighty God my maker and redeemer and my body to be buried in the church yard at Biddenden

First I will and bequeath unto my son George Harpe five pounds of good and lawfull to be paid unto my son George when he shall reach unto the age of 21 years to be paid by my executor

I will and bequeath unto my son John Harpe five pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto him when he shall come unto the age of four and twenty years to be paid by my executor

I will and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Harpe five pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her when she shall come unto the age of four and twenty years to be paid by my executor

I will and bequeath unto my daughter Sibboll Harpe five pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her when she shall come unto the age of four and twenty years by my executor

And if the said children do happen to die before they do come to age then my will is the portion him or hers shall be equally divided between the others

Item I do make my wife my whole executor of all my goods and chattels whatsoever my debts and legacies first being paid for, my goods I do give my children my will is my executor shall have the use of it to bring them up withal? till they do accomplish the age of 24 years and if my said wife do fortune to marry any more then he that marry her shall putt in good and sufficient bond to pay my children their portions unto my loving friend Thomas Young whom I make my overseer of this my last will and testament made the 14th day of December 161 (blank) The mark of Stephen Harpe Sealed & declared in the presence of
