This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Gillbee of the Manor House Hackney Court in the county of Middlesex the widow and Relict of William Gillbee late of Chartham Deanery in the County of Kent Esquire deceased

I give to Abraham Parkin of Chelsea in the said County of Middlesex an annuity or yearly sum of fifty two pounds during his life and I direct my Executors to pay the same by equal weekly payments into the proper hands and upon the sole receipt of the said Abraham Parkin to the intent the same may be a provision for his support and maintenance during his life and in no way alienable by him and the first payment thereof to be made on the first Saturday next after my decease and in case the present wife of the said Abraham Parkin shall happen to survive him then from and after his decease I give to her an annuity or yearly sum of twenty six pounds during the remainder of her life to be paid by my executors by like weekly payments for her support and maintenance and on her sole receipt or acknowledgement for the same and the first payment thereof to be made on the first Saturday next after the decease of the said Abraham Parkin

and I give to my daughter Sarah Habershon the wife of Matthew Habershon of Mortimer Street Cavendish Square Architect the sum of one thousand pounds three per cent consolidated Bank annuities and also all my plate ? pictures prints books furniture and other chattels in my dwellinghouses (except money or securities for money) for her own absolute and use and benefit and to be at her own disposal as if she were sole and unmarried and not to be in anyway subject to the trusts or covenants contained in her marriage settlement

and I give and devise my piece of freeholdland at Hackney?? The House Meadow Purchased by me from my late Son William Gillbee and all other my Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever with the appurtenances unto and to the use of my friend Richard Plumtree Glyn late of Birham Land but now of Lombard Street in the City of London Esquire his heirs and assigns forever upon trust with all convenient speed after my decease to make sale and dispose of the same by public Auction or private contract or otherwise at his or their direction and I direct that the ? monies to arise therefrom be applied accordingly and for promoting such in a sale I will and I direct that the receipt of the said Richard Plumtree Glyn his heirs or assigns shall be a good and sufficient discharge to the purchaser or purchasers of my said Real Estate for his her or their purchase money and shall effectiveally? Discharge him her or their from any liability of seeing to the application thereof

and as to for and ?? all and singular my monies stocks funds and securities for money and all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my goods chattels and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of whatever kind nature or quality so ever which may be possessed of or entitled to at the time of my decease (except such as parts thereof as ? herein before specifically disposed of) I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto the said Richard Plumptre Glyn his executors administrators and assigns upon trust (after payment and discharge thereout of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses) to stand possessed of and interested in the same and also of the monies to arise from the sale of my real Estates and the rents and profits thereof in the meantime upon such trusts and for such ends intents and purposes as in and by the settlement made previous to the marriage of my said daughter Sarah Habershon with the said Matthew Habershon her present husband bearing date the twenty ninth day of May One thousand eight hundred and eighteen and made or expressed to be made between the said Matthew Habershon of the first part ad the said Sarah Habershon his wife (then Sarah Gillbee the younger) of the second part and myself and the late Son William Gillbee and the said Richard Plumptre Glyn of the 3d part are expressed declared and contained of and containing the sum of three thousand pounds three per cent consolidated Bank annuities and the dividends and annual proceeds thereof or such and to many of those trusts ends intents and purposes as at the time of my decease shall or may be subsisting undetermined or capable of taking effect and shall and do pay apply and dispose of the same accordingly

provided always that in case of my surviving son James Gillbee shall at any time ?over thought and proper use of his ffaculties so as to be able to manage his own ?? then and from thereforth it is my will and direction that the interest dividends or annual proceeds of one equal moiety of half part of my funded property not specifically bequeathed shall be paid to him my said son James Gillbee or his assigns during the remainder of his life for his own use and benefit But so that upon his decease or again losing his ffaculties the principal or capital of such last mentioned moiety or half part of my said funded property shall again revert to my said daughter and her children upon and according to the trusts of her said marriage settlement

and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said daughter Sarah Habershon to be the executrix and the said Richard Plumtre Glyn to be the Executor of this my last will and Testament and lastly I do hereby revoke all former and other wills by me at anytime heretofore made and declare this to my my only true last will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Sarah Gillbee the testatrix have hereunto and to a duplicate hereof set my hand and seal the twelfth day of August one thousand eight hundred and thirty three Sarah Gillbee
Signed sealed publish and declared by the said Sarah Gillbee the Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

This is a codicil to the within written will of me the within named Sarah Gillbee and to be taken as part thereof whereas by my within will I have appointed Richard Plumtre Glynn as Executor and Trustee of my will with my daughter within named Now I do hereby revoke the said appointment of the said Richard Plumtre Glynn and in lieu thereof appoint his Brother George Carr Glynn Esquire Executor and Trustee together with my said daughter for all the purposes for which the said Richard Plumtre Glynn was appointed and in all other respects I do hereby confirm and ratify my will witness my hand and seal the twenty fourth day of August one thousand eight hundred and thirty six Sarah Gillbee Witnesses

Proved at London with a Codicil 8th March 1842 before the worshipful John Janberry Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of Sarah Habershon (wife of Matthew Habershon) the daughter the Executrix named in the will to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn only to administer George Garr Glyn (in the Codicil written Glynn) Esquire the Executor and Residuary Legatee in trust named in the codicil having first renounced the Probate and Execution of the said will and Codicil and also the Letters of Admon (with the said will and Codicil as annexed) of the Goods to the said deceased.
