In The Name of God Amen the seaventh Day of September in the Year of Our Lord one thousand six hundred and sixty nine.
I PETER EVANS of the Citty of Canterbury Kent being sicke in bodie but of sound and perfect mind and memory God be praised doe make and ordayne this my last Will and Testament in manner following.
First I comend my soule into the Hands of Allmighty God my gracious and mercifull creator hoping that I shall obtayne everlasting life through the precious and meritorious death and sufferings of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my bodie to ye Earth to be buried att the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named.

Item I make my deare and loving wife SARA Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
And I give unto her the use occupation and possession of all my goodes chattelles and personall Estate for the terme of her naturall life.

And after her decease I give all and bequeath all my said goodes chattelles and personall Estate to my deare and loving daughter GRACE wife of EDWARD ROBERTS Esquire and to my deare and loving daughter ANNA wife of WILLIAM SPENCER Esquire equally to be divided betwixt them.

Item I will that my said loving wife SARAH shall have and enjoy the messuages lands and tenements wich before this time I have setled upon her for her joynture for and during the terme of her naturall life.

Item I give and devise unto my said sonne EDWARD ROBERTS and to his heirs my Lands and tenements in Ickham and Ashe-next-Sandwich in the County of Kent for him to sell the same as soon as he conveniently hee can for the payment of his debts.

Item I give and devise unto my said sonne WILLIAM SPENCER and to his heirs all those my messuages lands and tenements in Whitstable in the County of Kent aforesaid which I purchased of John Frining in full payment and satisfaction of what yet remaines due and unpaid to him of his wifes porcon.

In Witness Whereof I the said PETER EVANS have hereunto set my hand and seale the Day and Year above said - PETER EVANS
