In the Name of God Amen I Hannah Den of Deal in the County of Kent, Spinster and being sound and perfect mind and memory yet considering the uncertainty of this life do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First I commend my Soul to God my Maker trusting by the only merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to be made partaker of a better life after this mortal life is ended and my Body I bequeath to the Earth from whence it was taken to be interred at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as for my worldly estate I give and bequeath the same as followeth (that is to say).

First I give unto my grand niece Mary Kite the daughter of Elizabeth and Phineas Kite fifty pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain but if the said Mary Kite should die unmarried then the said fifty pounds shall go to Thomas Kite the said Mary Kiteís brother.

Also I give to my brother Thomas Hoile(?) and my sister Mary Hoile his wife each of them a mourning ring of thirty shillings value each.

Also I give and bequeath unto my five heirs (that is to say) Elizabeth the wife of Phineas Kite, Mary Stoddard the wife of Michael Stoddard both ? the first living in Dover the last in Ash, Anne the wife of John Brickenden Margaret Young and Joan Hoile all the rest and residue of my estate all and singular my goods chattels moveable household goods real and personal estate whatsoever wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever it shall exist and be to be equally divided between my said five heirs and to their heirs forever.

But if any of my said heirs shall die without issue then the husband of her so deceased shall enjoy her part during his natural life and after his decease it shall go to the survivors or survivor of his said wives sisters to be equally divided among them.

And I do make constitute and appoint John Brithenden and Elizabeth Kite my ? joint Executors of this my will revoking all former wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Hannah Den have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of May one thousand seven hundred and twenty six. Hannah Denne. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Hannah Den the Testatrix for and as her last Will and Testament on the day of the date thereof in the presence of
Mary Paramor, Eliz Hills, Elia(?) Child.

The above registered will of Hana Denne late of Deal in the Diocese of Canterbury Spinster deceased was proved the 9th of September 1733 before James ? Clerk lawful Surrogate to the Worshipful Richard Chickeley Doctor of Laws Commissary General of the City and Diocese of Canterbury lawfully deputed and administer of the said deceasedís goods so far as concern the said deceased and his will was committed to John Brickenden and Elizabeth Kite Executors named in the said will they being first sworn duly to administer the same
