In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Denn of Walmer, in the county of Kent, widow, being in good health of body and of sound and alert mind and memory yet considering the uncertainty of this life do make and declare this my last will and testament this seventh and twentieth day of May Anno Domi 1690 in manner following: First I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and power by the only merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to be made ... of a better life after this mortal life my body I commit to the earth to be buried at the direction of my Executrix hereafter named and as authority for my estate I give devise and bequeath in manner following:

First I give devise and bequeath unto my son Thomas Denn ... all that my ... of land lying and being in the parish of Great Mongeham in the said county of Kent, now in the occupation and to the heirs of my said son Thomas Denn for by him lawfully begotten and if my said son Thomas Denn shall die without issue of his body lawfully begotten then my mind and will is and I do hereby give and bequeath the said lands and ... in Great Mongeham aforesaid unto the children of my son Vincent Denn and the children of my daughter Margaret Johnson equally to be divided between them, and to their heirs,
and my mind and will if that my said son Thomas Denn his heirs and assigns shall out of the rents and profits of the said lands yearly pay unto my said daughter Margaret Johnson during her natural life the sum of forty shillings and by quarterly payments.

Item, I give devise and bequeath unto my son Daniel Denn all that my tenement ground and thereonto belonging and in his occupation in Deal in the said county of Kent, to my said son Daniel Denn his executors and ... provided always and my mind and will is that my said son Daniel Denn his executors or ... shall and will ... of the rents and profits of this said ... shall yearly pay unto my said daughter Margaret Johnson during her natural life the sum of forty shillings. And by equal quarterly payments, and shall yearly pay unto my son Vincent Denn of Deal aforesaid the like sum of forty shillings and by equal quarterly payments. And also shall after the decease of my son Vincent pay the children of my said son Vincent the sum of fifty pounds of lawful money of England.
Also I will and order my said son Daniel Denn his executors or .... to pay in consideration of my giving him the said ... by this my said will.

Item, I give to my grandson David Denn the sum of five shillings and to his sister Mary Denn one shilling of lawful money of England.

I give and bequeath after payment of my debts, funeral charges and probate of this my will unto my daughter Margaret Johnson her executors and I do make and appoint my said daughter Margaret Johnson full and sole Executrix of this my will revoking all other wills and testaments by me, and do ordain this to be my last will and testament in writing .....
