In the name of God Amen, I John Denne of Tilmanstone in the county of Kent, yeoman, being in perfect health and in good and perfect memory ........ And ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say; First I will and bequeath my soule unto the hands of my creator who .... into my .... body with full .... And .... faith in Christ Jesus to live with him .... after this my mortal life shall be ended. Item, I bequeath my body to the earth whereof it .... first .... to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix .... and in named.
And I do .... nominate and .... Ann my loving wife to be sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament.

Item, I .... the .... of Tilmanstone aforesaid the sum of twenty shillings. Item, I will and bequeath the sum of six shillings .... for the term of ten years to the .... of the years aforesaid. .... Out of my lands .... bequeathed and ..... at the will of my Executrix For the term of the said ten years to the .... of the years aforesaid to be paid yearly on St. Johnís day in ......

Item, I give to my sister Margaret Terry the sum of one shilling.
Item, I give to Barbara Barber my sister .... daughter the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England.
Item, I give to the children of my late sister Mary Austen the sum of twenty pounds of lawful money of England, that is to say to John Austen sonne of the said Mary fifteen pounds and to his sister .... the sum of five pounds.
Item, I will and bequeath to my sister Alice .... to the .... of her children the sum of twenty pounds.
Item, I give unto the sonnes and daughters of my brother Thomas Denne five shillings apiece.
Item, I give unto my God child Thomas Denne sonne of Thomas Denne forty shillings, ......
Item, I give unto my God child John Denne sonne of James Denne The sum of forty shillings
Item, I give unto Anne ...... twenty shillings and to Elizabeth ..... twenty shillings.

All the said .......... and bequeaths before bequeathed by this my last Will and Testament .... what of ..... to the .... aforesaid bequeathed my will and testament, my said Executrix shall .... pay all the .... after my decease

I give and bequeath to my said loving wife for and during the term of her natural life all and singular my lands, leases, tenements and hereditaments what soever, and after her decease I will and bequeath all my said messuages, lands, leases, tenements and hereditaments whatsoever unto my loving ...... Denne son of my brother Thomas Denne and his heirs forever. ....
