This is the last will of me the aforesaid William Dene made the day and year above written touching the disposition of my messuage and of all my lands that I have in the parishes of Minster, Eastchurch and Warden within the said Isle.

First I will that Johane my wife have my messuage aforesaid and 30 acres of land be it more or less in the same messuage next adjoining to have to the said Johane and her assigns during all her life under the form and consideration following that is to say if the said Johane ? sole without any husband during all her said life and if it fortune the said Johane to marry or wed then I will that my sons that then shall be living enter and distress the said Johane and her put out of the said messuage and lands and the said messuage and lands to have to them and their heirs forevermore evenly to be divided between them.

Also I will that Johane my wife have 3 acres of land called Badcocks(?) to have to the said Johane and her assigns during all her said life and after the decease of the said Johane I will the said land remain to my said sons and to their heirs forevermore.

Also I will that Johane Child my mother have yearly during all her life 13s 4d of the issues and profits coming of all my lands that I have at Estbroke(?) in the parishes of Eastchurch and Warden.

Also I will that William and John the elder my sons have all my lands that I have lying in Rushenden to have to them and their assigns unto the time that Thomas and John the younger their brothers come to lawful age at which time I will the said lands be evenly divided and ? between them and their heirs.
