First I give and bequeath to the heirs of my late Brother William Dadd,
his sons William Thomas and John the sum of twenty five pounds each to be paid to
them by my executors at the expiration of the calendar month after my decease.
And to a neice of my brother William Daughter Sarah whose is named Thomasine Dadd which is now living with my sister Elizabeth Dadd Widow of my late brother William I give and bequeath to the said Thomasine Dadd the sum of twenty five Pounds to be paid into the hands of my two nephews William and John Dadd by my executors at the expiration of aforementioned time and that the said sum of money to remain in the hands of William and John Dadd till the aforementioned Thomasin (sic) Dadd shall come to the age of twenty one years or until they think proper for to pay messuage unto her
and further that it is my desire that my nephews William and John Dadd will make something of the money by way of interest in consideration and for the advantage of the said Thomasine Dadd till she come of age or until they think proper to pay her the said sum of twenty five pounds each to be paid by my executors at the expiration of six calendar months after my decease.
And I do give and bequeath unto my brother James Dadd my (yoast???) of seven acres of marsh land lying in the said Parish of Wickhambreux being only one fourth part of the said seven acres of land.
And as to the rest? and Residue of my Personal Estate I give and bequeath unto my said two brothers James and Thomas Dadd Whom I do appoint to be my Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In this Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this sixteenth Day of April in
the year of our Lord 1799 John Dadd signed and sealed and declared by the named
Testatrix John Dadd to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who
subscribed our names in the presence of those said testatrix

The before registered Will of John Dadd deceased was proved the seventh day of December 1799 before the Reverend Joshua Dix Clerk Surrogate to the Right Honble Sir William Scott Knight Doctor of Law Official General to the Reverend ..... of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of James Dadd and Thomas Dadd the brother of the Testator and Executors named in the said Will they being first sworn duly to perform the same.
