In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Cripps of Fawke Common in the Parish of Seal in the County of Kent , Widow being of sound mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty God for the same do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner following [that is to say] first and principally I resign my soul unto the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping for free pardon and remission of all my Sins and to enjoy everlasting happiness in his Heavenly Kingdom through the merits? of Jesus Christ my Saviour my Body I commit to the Earth to be directly interred at the discretion of me Executrix hereinafter named.

My Will also is and I do hereby direct that all such Sum or Sums of Money as shall be out to my Son in Law William Gregory who now lives with me for Wages shall be fully paid and discharged by my said Executrix as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

and whereas my Son in Law Thomas Cooper of Fawkham in the said County of Kent Yeoman stands justly and truly indebted unto me for money which I have lent and advanced to him and for his use amounting to the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds my Will is that in case he shall give no Trouble or Molestation to my Executrix hereinafter named in the Execution and Performance of this my last Will and Testament or the Trustees or Executors of the last Will and Testament of my late husband Thomas Cripps deceased in the Execution thereof I do hereby remit and release unto him the said debt of one hundred and fifty pounds and that he shall not be answerable or accountable to my said Executrix for the same in case he shall give any Trouble Molestation or Disturbance to them or either of them for or an Amount of any thing in this my Will contained or of the Will of my said late Husband deceased then I give the said one hundred and fifty pounds and every part thereof to my Daughter Sarah Gregory to and for her own use and benefit

and whereas Robert Durrant of Framfield in the County of Sussex Esquire now is and stands justly and truly indebted unto me for the sum of three hundred pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain two hundred pounds being vested in his hands by my late husband deceased in his life time and one hundred pounds other part thereof being my property was since my said husbands decease vested by me in the hands of the said Robert Durrant making together the said sum of three hundred pounds and every part thereof I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Sarah Gregory her Administrators and Assigns to and for her sole and separate use and disposal Notwithstanding her sole and separate use and disposal Notwithstanding her coverture ??my said Son-in Law Thomas Cooper having paid no Interest for the aforementioned sum of one hundred and fifty pounds for many years past therefore I do consider that the bequest I have herein made to my said Daughter Sarah is Just and Equitable

and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Daughter Sarah Gregory sole Executrix of this my last Will and hereby revoking and making void all former Wills and bequests by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Sarah Cripps the Testator have to to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this Seventh Day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty two.The Mark X and Seal of of Sarah Cripps Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for the last Will and Testament in the presence of us at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other has subscribed our Names as Witnesses hereto

This Will was proved at London on the Twenty eighth Day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand and Seven Hundred and Ninety One before the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary or the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Sarah Gregory [wife of William Gregory] the Daughter and sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods ,Chattels and Credits of the Deceased having been first sworn by Commission only to Administer
