In the name of God Amen. The seventh day of November Anno Doi (In the year of our Lord) 1624 and in the two and twentieth year of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord James by the grace of God King of England France & Ireland defender of the fayth &c & of Scotland the eight and fiftieth _ Abdias Coppin of the pishe of St Lawrence in the Ile of Thanett in the County of Kent fisherman beinge weake in body but of sound and pfecte memory thanks bee unto God make and ordeine this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge. Ffirst I bequeath my sole unto the handes of my creator and redeemer and my body to the earth to bee interred in the north side of the churchyard of St Lawrences aforesaid

also I give and bequeath unto my wife Alice the use of my dwellings house and the appurtenances and all the proffitts of _ lands thereunto belongings dureinge her naturall life and after her desease I give the sayd house with the appurtenance unto my sonne Thomas Coppin and to the heires of his body lawfully begotten or his assigned payeinge the money _ I owe unto Thomas Nethersole of ye sayd pishe yeoman.

Item I give unto my sayd sonne Thomas the table and forme in the hall and my greate chest standinge in my bedchamber.
Item I give unto my sonne William Coppin three acres of land lyeinge and beinge at Kings bancke in the pishe aforesaid and to the heires of his body lawfully begotten hee or his payinge assigned payeinge unto my daughter Susan Coppin five pounds of lawfull money of England and discharginge the five pounds of like lawfull money due unto William Fagge of the sayd parishe yeoman.

Item I give unto my sonne Abdias Coppin three acres of land, two and a halfe thereof lyeinge at Kings banke aforesaid and the other halfe acre at place called Markt _ in the sayd pishe and to the heires of his body lawfully begotten he or his assigned payeinge unto my daughter Alice Coppin five pounds of lawfull money of England within twelve months next after my desease, within _ tyme I will the other five pounds to bee payd by my sonne William or his assigned unto my daughter Susan aforesaid.

Item I give and bequeath unto my sayd sonne Abdias (after the desease of his mother my wife aforesaid) the bedstedle and bed furnished whereon I use to lye.
Item I give unto my sonne William aforesaid and my daughter Susan to each of them a payre of sheets and pewter dishe and a pewter platter after the desease of my wife aforesaid to them I leave the rest of my household stuffs and ymploments of household to bee disposed of at her discretion amonge my children aforesaid.
Item I give unto my sonne Abdias aforesaid (after the desease of my sayd wife) two doale (measures) of _ netts and two doale of herringe netts.

And I make and ordaine my sonne Thomas Coppin aforesaid the sole and onely executer of this my last will and testament. And I hereby revoke all other wills _ heretofore by mee made and do publishe and declare this to bee myne onely last will and testament.
