This is the last Will and Testament of me WILLIAM COOPER of the Parish of Wingham in the County of Kent Gentleman I being of sound mind memory and understanding.

First I direct that all my just Debts funeral and testamentary expenses shall be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

I give devise and bequeath all and every my Messuages or Tenements Lands Hereditaments and Real Estate and also all and singular my monies and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my mother JANE COOPER and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life.

And from and immediately after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same Messuages or Tenements Lands and Hereditaments and Real Estate and all and singular my said monies and Personal Estate and Effects unto my brother THOMAS COOPER his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the several natures and qualities thereof respectively for this and their absolute use and benefit subject nevertheless to and charge and chargeable with the payment of the several legacies of sums hereinafter mentioned.

That is to say to my sister MARY the wife of DAVID CAREY the sum of one hundred pounds sterling.
To my niece ANNA PETTIT the like sum of one hundred pounds sterling.
To my niece ELIZABETH MAPLESDEN the sum of fifty pounds sterling.
To my niece JANE WHITE the sum of fifty pounds sterling.
To my niece EMMA NOPS the sum of fifty pounds sterling.
To my niece JANE PYE the sum of twenty five pounds sterling.
To my nephew JOHN COOPER INGE the sum of twenty five pounds sterling.
To my nephew WILLIAM INGE the sum of twenty five pounds sterling.
To my nephew EDWIN INGE the sum of twenty five pounds sterling.
To my nephew FREDERICK INGE the sum of twenty five pounds sterling.
To my nephew THOMAS PETTIT twenty five pounds sterling.
To my nephew WILLIAM PETTIT twenty five pounds sterling.
To my servant JAMES RANDALL fifty pounds sterling.
And to my servant HANNAH LAWSON one hundred pounds sterling.
All which said several legacies I direct shall be paid (and the last one free of legacy duty) within twelve calendar months next after the decease of my said mother JANE COOPER.

And I nominate and appoint my said brother THOMAS COOPER and my friend DENNE DENNE of Elbridge House Esquire Executors of this my Will and hereby revoke all former or other wills by me at any time heretofore made.

In Witness whereof I the said WILLIAM COOPER the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th Day of December 1845. W1LLIAM COOPER signed sealed published and declared by the said WILLIAM COOPER the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses.
