This is the last Will and Testament of me George Clamp of Riverhead in the Parish of Sevenoaks in the County of Kent Innholder that is to say

In the first place I hereby give devise and bequeath unto my dear Wife Hester all my household Goods and furniture of every description together with all my Linen Woollen Plate China and books together with all my book Debts Bills Bonds Mortgages Notes of hand and other securities for money after paying all my just Debts funeral Charges and expences and probate of this my Will for her sole and separate use and benefit

but in case my Wife Hester should at any time after my decease intermarry then I do further direct and order that all the said household Goods and furniture of every description Stock in Trade and all other my Personal Property whatsoever and wheresoever shall be immediately sold appraised or properly made over to some person or persons for the best price and most money that can be had and gotten
and the amount thereof to be equally divided to and amongst all my dear Children that shall be then living share and share alike

and I do hereby authorize constitute and appoint my said Wife Hester and Mr John Hooper of Sevenoaks aforesaid Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament contained in one sheet of paper
hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declaring and publishing this only as my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said George Clamp have hereto set my hand and seal the 31st day of December in the year of our Lord 1824 George Clamp

Memorandum I the said George Clamp do on the same day direct and order this Memorandum to be a Codicil and to be made a part and to be taken as such of my above written last Will and Testament that is to say

That I do hereby give unto my said dear Wife full power and authority during her Widowhood at any time to let or part with the business of an Innholder now used and carried on in my name at Riverhead aforesaid
