IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN The 9th daye of October in the yere of our lord god 1547, I Thomas Burwashe thelder[crossed out] of the parishe of Egerton, beinge hoole of mynde doo make and ordayne this my last testament and will in maner and forme followinge First I gyve my soule unto Almightie god and my bodye to be buried in the churcheyard of Egerton

Item I gyve unto my daughter Alyce 6 L 13 s 4 d to be paide unto her whan she comethe to thage of 18 yeares And yf my sayde daughter fortune to disceace ar she come to thage aforesayde than I will the sayd 6 L 13 s 4 d to remaynge unto my wyfe
Item I gyve unto Robert Peer 2 s to oulde Pellant 2 s And to John Lawe 20 d and to any one of my godchildren 4 d
The resydue of all my goodes unbequethed my legacies and my debtes paide I gyve onto Joane my wyfe whom I make and ordaine to be my soule executrixe To this witneseth

THIS IS the last will of me the said Thomas Burwashe cocernying my landes and tenements First I will the lande called Sandehill which was geven my by the last will of William Burwashe after the discease of Myldrede his wyfe if the sayde Myldrede be not with child with a man child which lande I gyve unto Jane my wyfe in fee symple
Item I will my howse and lande which I dwell in to my daughter after the decease of my Mother And my wyfe to have the kepinge of my sayde daughter unto the tyme she come to the age of 18 years And I will my wyfe to have the sayde howse and landes unto the tyme she come to the forsaid age to this witneseth as a foresaid
