This is the last will of me William Borwusshe of Egerton made the 26th day of february the year of our lord God 1495 / first I will that Maryeon my wife shall have and occupy and the profitte take and receyve of my principall Mesuage and Landes without strepe or waste which I bought of Richard Borne of Egerton unto the tyme my 2 sonnys Gilbert and George come to the age of 20 yeres and then ye my said 2 sonnys take ye profitt with condition that they make a sufficient suretye to pay to Marion my wyfe with term of her lyfe 20 20 S yearly to be payd and when my foresaid 2 sonnys come to the age of 22 years I will that my feeoffes Richard Wanden George Pemyll of Egerton Richard Borwasshe of Egerton and Richard Pryton of Esfrynge [?] shall delyver the foresaid Mesuage and Lands in fee symple to my said 2 sonnys fulfillying the foresaid condition /

And if any of my said sonnys dye without heryes of those bodyes lawfully begoten within the age of 22 yeres eche of them to be without heyres / And yf both of them dye within the foresaid age of 22 yeres without heyres of their bodies lawfully begotten then I will Maron my wyfe shall have and occupy my foresaid mesuage and Lands all ye term of her life without strepe or waste . the lands of the . after ye desease of marion my wyfe I will ye foresaid mesuage and Landes to my 2 sonnys called Nicholas and Thomas to . to their heyres and their assignes forever /

Also I will that Marion my wyfe shall have and occupy ye 2 chambers in ye South West ende of my forsaid musuage all ye term of her life when she as a wydow . she . a wydow keping . at the foresaid term of her . Item I will that my forsaid feoffes shall suffer Marion my wyfe to have and occupy my mesuage and Landes sett and leying at fythyforstall behind heny lane without ? and waste unto the tyme Nicholas my soon come to ye age of 20 yeres / and then ye said Nicholas to take ye profitt under ye condition that ye foresaid Nicholas make a sufficient suretye to pay to marion my wyfe yerly all ye term of her lyfe 7 S 8 d quartly to be payd and when ye said Nicholas come to y age of 22 yeres the feoffee shall delyver ye said Mesuage and Lands in fee symple to ye Nicholas fulfillyng foresaid conditions and yf ye said Nicholas dye within ye age of 22 years and have none heres of his body lawfully begoten then I will that ye said mesuage and landes remanyne to my sonnys John Thomas Gilbert and George for ever /

Item I will that my foresaid feoffes shall suffer Maryon my wife to have and occupye my landes ye which I purchased of John Peron of Egerton without strepe or waste unto ye tyme ye Thomas my soon come to the age of 20 yeres / and then I will that Thomas my soon shall take profitt of the foresaid lande with ye condition that he make a sufficient suretye to pay to Marion my wyfe nerly terme of her lyfe 6 S quartly to be payd and when the said Thomas come to ye age of 22 yeres than I will that my feoffes shall delyver ye foresaid landes to ye said Thomas my soon in fee symple fulfillyng ye foresaid conditions / and if ye said Thomas dye within ye age of 22 yeres without heyres of his body lawfully begoten then I will that ye foresaid landes remayne to my sonys John Nicholas Gilbert and George for ever /

Item I will that my foresaid feoffes shall suffer marion my wife to have and occupy my landes in ye denne of Elmherst unto the tyme that John my soon come to the age of 20 yeres / And then he to take ye profitt of the foresaid landes with ye conditions that he make a sufficient suretye to pay to Marion my wyfe 6 S 8 d quartly to be payd all ye term of ye said marion life / And when ye said john come to the age of 22 yeres ye said feoffe shall delyver hym ye said landes in fee symple fulfillyng ye foresaid conditions / An yf ye said John dye within the age of 22 yeres without heyres of his body lawfully begotten than I will ye foresaid Landes remayne to my sonnys Nicholas Thomas Gilbert and George . /

Also . that Marion my wyfe shall delyver to my foresaid feoffes the .of 10 L toe which I have ordeynyd and bequethed to my 2 daughters Agnes and Katherine and yf ye said John Borowyshe my soon do to stele and have mede of the said 10 L or any parte thereof than I will that my said feoffes delyver to the said John Borewasshe as much of the 10 L owe shalbe made for hym And when John my son come to the age of 22 yeres to pay or make a sufficient suretye to my said feofees for as much as he hath receyvyd of ye foresaid 10 L / And if the said John dye or wyll not pay as much and he hath receyvyd of ye 10 L to ye foresaid feoffes then I will that they hold and sell and as much of the landes that I have deleyrd to the said John by my wyfe as he hath receyved in 10 L or in the . of the forsaid some of 10 L And yf my sonys dye that is to say John Nicholas Thomas Gilbert and George without heyres of their bodyes lawfully begotten then I will that all ye foresaid Mesuages and Landes remayne to my 2 daughters Agnes and Kathryn to them to their heyres and to their assignes for ever And than yf ye said daughters dye and have none heyres of their bodys lawfully begotten then I will that ye forsaid all my Mesuages and Landes be sold after the expenses of my forsaid feofees or their assignes And the money therof deliveryd to beste . in preste syngyng in the said church of Egerton And 10 L nedefull to the said church to . Mariage And to fowle ways And in other workes of charyte
