In the Name of God Amen the 24 day of September in the twelfth year of our Sovereign Lady Ann by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith Anno Domini 1713
I Elizabeth Ayling of the Parish of Chislett in the County of Kent Widow being of Sound and Perfect mind memory and understanding Praised be God therefore Do make and ordain this my Present last Will and Testament in manner and Form following

First and Principally I resign up my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping and assuredly trusting to receive remission and Forgiveness of all my Sins only in and through the meritorious death and passion of my alone Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ and my Body decently to be Interred in the Parish Church at Monkton in the Isle of Thanet at the discretion of my Executor herein after named And as touching and concerning such Worldly Goods as it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I do give and dispose of the same in manner following

Item I do give and bequeath unto my Son Seth Ayling and his heirs for ever my house and Garden in Monkton with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging and now in the Occupation of John Hinge or his Assignes which said house I hold in Lease of the Church of Canterbury

Also I give more to my said Son Seth Ayling ten pounds to buy him Mourning
Also I give unto him my Silver tanker and the full half part of all my Linnen as Sheets table Cloaths Napkins Towells and other sorts of Linnen
Also I give more to him a Feather Bed pillows Boulster Blanketts and quilt with the purple Curtains .... and all things belonging to it

Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Mr Wm Yeonge Vicar of Chislett and my daughter Anne his Wife ten pounds to buy them Mourning
Also I give to my Daughter Yeonge my largest Silver Salver and the other half part of my Linnen of all sorts as above mentioned and also a Feather Bed with all things belonging to it

Item I give unto my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Ayling .....
I give unto my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Yeonge my Silver Porringer
and to my other Grand Children I give to each of them a Silver Spoone

Item I give to my Brother and Sister Terry each of them a ring
Also I give to my Sister Parker a ring
and to my Brother and Sister Brooke each of them a ring

And the rest of my Goods and Chattels ready money and Personal Estate whatsoever after all my debts and Legacyes Funeral Expences are all paid and discharged I give the same to my son Seth Ayling and his heirs for ever

and I do hereby make and appoint my said Son Seth Ayling Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
And I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me made and I do Confirm this only to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Ayling have to this my last Will and Testament set and put my hand and Seal Dated the day and year first above written Eliz; Ayling
