In the Name of God Amen this 17th Day of May Anno Dmi 1707 in the eighth yeare of the Reigne of Queene Anne over Great Britaine
I SARAH ADDAMS of the Parish of Ash next Sandwich in the County of Kent Widow being sick and weake in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory (praised be God for the same) considering the uncertainty of this transitory Life and being desirous to settle that Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in writing in manner and forme following (that is to say).

I do make and ordaine my Brother in Law JOHN BING and my loving friend GEORGE KEBLE both of Ash to be joynt Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
And I do hereby give unto the said GEORGE KEBLE the sume of five pounds of lawfull money of England.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Brother JOHN EWELL the sume of ten pounds of lawfull money of England.
And to my Sisters ANNE ROAD and MARY BING the sume of six pounds apeice of like money.
And to THOMAS son of JOHN OLDFIELD of Wingham the sume of forty shillings of like money.
And to the seven children of my said sister ANNE ROAD and unto every of them the sume of four pounds apeice of like money.
And unto ANNE ADDAMES of Dover Spinster the sume of forty shillings of like money.

And unto SARAH SILKWOOD daughter of ROBERT SILKWOOD deceased and unto JOHN BING MARY BING MARTHA BING THOMAS BING and ELIZABETH BING children of my Sister MARY BING and unto each and every of them the sume of four pounds apeice of like money to be paid unto all and every of them by my said Executors within seven yeares next after my decease.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Aunt MARY BOX Spinster the sume of three pounds of like money to be paid unto her my said Aunt by my said Executors within two months next after my decease.
And I do hereby further bequeath unto my Uncle STEPHEN BAX forty shillings of like money to be paid unto him by my said Executors within one yeare next after my decease.

Also I do give and bequeath unto my said Sister ANNE ROAD my silk crape gowne and two petticoates and a cap coif handkercheif and a pair of sleeves of my best sort to wear with them.
And I do give and bequeath unto SARAH ROAD and MARTHA BING each of them one of my gold rings.

All the Rest and Residue of all and singular my goods chattells and Personall Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I do give and bequeath unto SARAH BING daughter of my said Sister MARY BING wife of my Brother in Law JOHN BING.

Also I do give and devise unto the said JOHN BING and GEORGE KEBLE my said Executors all these my four messuages and yards thereunto belonging in Ash Street in Ash aforesaid in my own occupacon and occupacon of HENRY WILMOT JOHN FENNELL Jun. and JEREMIAH ROAD or their assigns In Trust that they my said Executors shall and will dispose of the same to the best advantage.
And to be accountable to the said SARAH BING for the money of the same by discharging my Legacies Debts or otherwise and for default of such selling and disposing of the same I do give and devise the said messuages with the appurtenances unto the said SARAH BING and her heires forever.

Also I do hereby give and devise unto the said SARAH all and singular other my messuages lands tenements and hereditaments in the Parish of Ash aforesaid and elsewhere.
And also all that my Annuity of ten pounds per Anno payable unto me out of the farme and lands called Moat Farme in Ash aforesaid to hold the same and every part thereof with appurtenances unto the said SARAH BING and her assigns for and during the terme of her naturall life (without impeachment of waste).
And from and after her decease to the use of the heires of the bodye of her the said SARAH lawfully begotten.
And for default of such heires to the use of my Brother JOHN EWELL my Sister MARY BING and my Sister ANNE ROAD and their heires and assigns forever.

Provided always nevertheless and my will and meaning is that my Mother SARAH EWELL and my Father in Law THOMAS ADDAMES shall have and enjoy and yearly receive and take out of my Real Estate last menconed the yearly sumes or payments of five pounds per anno apiece upone for and during the Termes of their naturall lives respectively to be paid them by equall quarterly payments after my decease. The first payment to begin at the first of the four usual Feast Dayes or Termes of Payment in the Yeare which shall next happen after my decease. And in default of payment of the same I do hereby impower my said Mother and Father in Law respectively to enter and distraine on my said last menconed Real Estate and to withold such distresses untill they shall be paid their said respective annuityes anything before to the contrary notwithstanding. And I do hereby subject my last menconed Real Estate to the payment of all and singular my aforesaid Legacies.

And I do hereby direct that my said Executors shall be paid their reasonable charges for their trouble in executing this my Will. And my will and mind further is that the four youngest children of my Sister BING and the four youngest children of my Sister ROAD and the said THOMAS OLDFIELD shall not receive their legacies untill their respective ages of nineteen yeares anything before to the contrary notwithstanding.

In Witness whereof to this my last Will and Testament in three sheets of paper contained to every sheet thereof my hand and seale I have set and put the Daye and Yeare first aforesaid SARAH ADDAMS signed sealed published and declared by the said SARAH ADDAMS to be her last Will and Testament the said 17th Day of May 1707 and by us subscribed as Witnesses in her presence and at her request.
