Sandrus Adlo RANSOM was born on 3 Apr 1849 in Vermilion, Erie, Ohio.^97,98,99 He appeared in the census in 1850 in Vermilion, Erie, Ohio.¹⁰⁰ He appeared in the census in 1860 in Springfield Twp, Allen, Indiana.¹⁰¹ He lived Milan Twp, Allen, Indiana in Milan Twp, Allen, Indiana in 1890.¹⁰² He was empaneled in a special jury for Circuit Court on 3 Jan 1910 in Allen County, Indiana.¹⁰³ He died on 12 Jan 1924 in New Haven, Adams Twp, Allen, Indiana.¹⁰⁴
Sandrus died of "Chronic valvular heart disease" at age 74+.
He was buried on 15 Jan 1924 in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana - Catholic Cemetery.^105,106 Sandrus is buried with his second wife, Julia Langley, in her plot at Catholic Cemetery. He is not buried with his first wife (and mother of his children), Caroline Graves. In the 1850 census, Erie Co OH, Vermillion Twp, dwelling #269, he is listed as "Sandrus A RANSOM", age 1, and living with his sister and mother next door to her brother, Lorenzo Dow JUMP.

In the marriage records, Allen County IN, vol 7:p478, he is listed as "Lowell RANSOM" when he married Caroline Graves on 12 June 1869.

In the 1870 census, Paulding Co OH, Carryall Twp, Antwerp, HH# 48, he is listed as "Adlow RANSOM", a farm laborer, living with his new wife (June 1869) next door to her sister, Matilda Graves MILLER.

In the 1880 census, Allen Co IN, Milan Twp, page 8 line 23, he is listed as "Adlo RANSOM", age 31.

In the 1900 census, Allen Co IN, Milan Twp, page 9 line 28, he is listed as "Sandrus RANSOM", with parents born in NY and MD.

In 1924, his death certificate shows "Sandrus Adlo RANSOM", born 3 April 1849 in Erie Co OH. Sandrus Adlo RANSOM and Caroline E GRAVES were married on 12 Jun 1869 in Allen County, Indiana.¹⁰⁷ They appeared in the census on 26 Jul 1870 in Antwerp, Paulding, Ohio.¹⁰⁸ They appeared in the census in 1880 in Milan Twp, Allen, Indiana.¹⁰⁹ They appeared in the census on 18 Jun 1900 in Milan Twp, Allen, Indiana.¹¹⁰

	iii.	Andrew A RANSOM was born on 29 Nov 1875 in Harlan, Allen, Indiana.114,120 He appeared in the census in 1880 in Milan Twp, Allen, Indiana.121 He died on 14 Oct 1942 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.122 He was buried in Oct 1942 in Harlan, Allen, Indiana.123

	v.	Mary E RANSOM was born on 16 May 1879 in Allen County, Indiana. She died on 18 May 1879 in Allen County, Indiana.114
	vi.	Charles Haulsey RANSOM was born on 20 Oct 1882 in Allen County, Indiana.114 (Alternate birth date 20 Oct 1881, according to D O McCOMB Funeral Home records.) He lived Edgerton IN in Edgerton, Allen, Indiana in 1910. Fort Wayne News, 1 Feb 1910, page 6, society news: "Mr Charles RANSOM and family, of Edgerton, spent the weekend in this city visiting relatives." Edgerton is "on the edge", right at the border on Highway 14. He appeared in the census on 15 Apr 1930 in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana.126 He died on 23 Dec 1930 in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana.127 Hallie was in the process of divorce from Julia when he shot and killed his girlfriend, Mrs Lillian HETRICK on 13 Dec 1930 at 2801 John St, Ft Wayne, in a fit of jealousy. Hallie also shot himself in the head, and died 10 days later. He was buried on 26 Dec 1930 in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana - Bowers cemetery.128
