Large, William  was the sheriff in Quapaw Oklahoma for a while.  He was the son of a Mrs. Betts I believe.  After he moved his brother Paul Large was
sheriff.  Paul worked through the 1940's and 50's.  I went to his brother Bill's funeral in about 1953 or so.  He had moved on to the Oklahoma Highway
Patrol and died of a massive heart attack that year.  They were both strong good men.
