Pattison, PFC Virgil O. (Bud) - 78th Inf. 311Div. Co. F" was born May 20, 1919 in Hockerville OK. He was KIA March 18,1945 in Agiedenburg Germany after the infamous 'Crossing of the Rhine River' on March 7-8th 1945. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and several other medels for his action in the Hurtgen Forest and other battles as he fought to the death for the freedom we enjoy today.   From His daughter,  Billie Pattison White.
