This is
page 7 of Teodor’s KONKLUZJA.
And this is
one of the most important pages in this document. It mentions the last battle
of Mozhary in the year 1773 when the village was completely destroyed by
Lithuanian soldiers on behalf of the bishop of Wilno (Vilnius).
It provides
also the family tree for the M-M family, beginning with Ivan Volodimirovich
(recognized as the prince Andrei Dmitievich Mozhayski), who had three sons,
namely Semen, who died childless, Alexander Gabriel (Gavrila), and Marcin
(Martin). Martin Mozhayski (or Mozarowski) had a son Grzegorz Mozhayski, who
had two sons, namely Sidko and Gridko. Sidko had two sons, namely Hryn and
Onykiey, while Gridko had five : Fedor, Andrei, Ivan, Sachno (Alexander – A.B.)
and Stepan.
Alexander
Gavrila had two sons, namely Andrei married to (princess) Owdotja
(Ovdotyia), who was a judge in the Palatinate of Kiev, and Semen, who in the
year 1496 received a confirmation of his rights to Ostaszyn, Sporow, Kamieniec
and the villages around Lohozhesk. (Since this ANDREI (married to Ovdotyia) and his brother SEMEN,
who received the above mentioned donation in the year 1496, ARE VERY WELL KNOWN
TO HISTORIANS AND GENEALOGISTS, one can then CONCLUDE that the above mentioned
ALEXANDER GAVRILA is, in fact, the PRINCE IVAN ANDREEVICH MOZHAYSKI, while his
father “IVAN VOLODIMIROVICH” is, in fact, the PRINCE ANDREI DMITRIEVICH
MOZHAYSKI, i.e. the son of St. DMITRI DONSKOY, the grand prince of Muscovy. The
term “Volodimirovich” was used throughout to describe a descendant of St.
Vladimir the Great, the grand prince of Kiev.).
SEMEN had a
son HAWRYLO (Gavrila), who married to ANNA ANDEEVNA SOLTAN, had four sons, namely ANDREI, IVAN, STEFAN and
OPANAS.
ANDREI
(Gavrilovich) married to Elena Maslov in the year 1567, had a son Ivan.
IVAN
(Gavrilovich) had a son Waclaw (Vatslav).
STEFAN
(Gavrilovich) had a son Ivan.
(the
document mentions no descendants of OPANAS, because in 18th century
they had been living in the Palatinate of Kiev. And most probably Teodor
Tymofiey M-M was not sure of their descent from Semen Mozhayski, or even didn’t
hear of their existence at all).
IVAN
(Andreevich) married to Anna Nieumierzycka in the year 1598 (in fact, in the
year 1599 – A.B.) had a son Joachim (Yakim).
WACLAW
(Ivanovich) had the following sons : Jedrzej (Andrei), Tytus, Lazar, and
Remigian, who in the year 1631 was an officer in the army.
IVAN
(Stefanovich) had the following sons : Demian, Jozef, Jakub, Pawel, and Bazyli
(Vasily).
