The birth records shows it as the 12th, however. He appeared on the census on July 14, 1870 in Rahway, Union County, New Jersey.29 page 4. He died after May 31, 1907 in Mexico.30 He sent a letter to his brother dated May 31, 1907, and was not heard from after that.
