I'm
looking for Jeremiah Moles (Molds). The earliest I find him is in Augusta
County, Virginia, where on 20 June 1801, he married Elizabeth Scott, the
daughter of Joseph Scott.

In 1810 census, Jeremiah & Elizabeth Moles are living in Giles County, VA.
Jeremiah is over 45, and Elizabeth is between 26 and 44.
We next find Jeremiah Moles and son Isaac listed on the 1824 Logan County, VA
tax list. He is again listed on the Logan County tax list in 1827, and has
acquired a horse, mare or colt. His son, Isaac, is living next door.
In 1830 we find Jeremiah & Elizabeth living between two sons, Isaac and
Emanuel, on the Logan County census. Jeremiah is between the ages of 60
and 70, meaning he was born approximately 1765.
In 1840 Jeremiah & Elizabeth are found living in Fayette County, VA (WV).
It is thought that Jeremiah died between 1840 and 1850 in Fayette County as I
can find no further record of him.
Can anyone connect to this Jeremiah MOLES family? Where was Jeremiah born,
and who are his parents? Any information you might have on a Jeremiah
Moles, born between 1760 and 1770 would be greatly appreciated.
