| TAYLOR, Lutitia Wilson | 1869 to 1901 Newton CO., Missouri |
| TAYLOR, Mack C. | b ~1826 Tenn & Sarah Suter b ~1832 AL - They were early pioneers to Stone County, MO but little is known of them. It is believed they traveled from Tenn to Stone County, MO about 1856. 1880 Census records are the last piece of info that I have placing the family unit in Stone County. But I am missing the 1890 census records for Stone County. However, Sarah shows up with her son's family in the 1900 Census. Her son was Andrew Jackson (Jack) Taylor and his family moved from the area shortly thereafter. Andrew's family appears to have lived in Joplin at least for the birth of one child and then moved on to Oklahoma. But I think Sarah did not go with them - she died at the home of another son - George and his wife Austrilla Taylor in 1910, in Illinois. Still the history of the family is sketchy as Andrew Jackson Taylor b 1852 in AL was the oldest child of nine (9) - My GGrandfather, Lewis F, was the youngest child b 1872 in Stone County. Other children of Mack and Sarah are Polly Ann b 1853 AL, Bethana b 1855 AL, Martha Jane b 1856 in MO, Sarah Elizabeth b 1858 MO, George W b 1861 MO, Samuel A b 1876 MO, and Cynthia Albertine b 1871 MO. I would like to discover a branch of the family that may have kept more records of the history of the family of Mack & Sarah Taylor and their origins. |

| TEAL | I would like to find info on William Thomas Teel(Teal) 1864-1951- believed born in Stoddard County MO and his sister Mary Ellen Teel(Teal) 1861- early 1900's. These children were born to Thomas Teal &wife, who were both were deceased prior to July 22,1872. 1880 census lists the parents as born in Tenn. A July 22, 1872 document indentured both children to William R. Taylor of Stoddard County where they will learn "the art and trade of farming". Mary Ellen, later listed as Ellen in the census, married Joseph Brooks and had children Rile Brooks and Katie Brooks. Ellen & Joe died soon after and the kids went to live with Sarah (sister of William Taylor) & Ran Langley. Rile Brooks died as a teenager and Katie married Luke Langley (relative of Ran ). William Thomas Teal was listed as Thomas Teal in the 1880 census but was later known as Billy Teel. He married Minerva "Babe" Johnson, 1863-1896, who is buried in the Taylor cemetary. She had son Willie Van Teel, 1893-1959. After Minerva "Babe" Johnson's death Wm Thms Teel married Elsie Trotter, 1882-1903, with whom he had children Arthur, 1901-1973, and a baby Mary, who is believed to be buried with Elsie in Oregon. The indenturement document indicates Joseph A Hambleton as the guardian of Wm Thms and Mary Ellen Teal. The 1880 census lists Mr. Hambleton as a merchant who was also born in Tenn. Were Stoddard county residents with Tenn. as birthplace from a specific region of Tenn. or were they from all over thie state? |

| TRANSOM | I am looking for the parents of Ellen Bertha TRANSOM. From her daughter's birth certificate it looks as if Ellen was born in Kentucky, however, on some paperwork from my great grandmother England is penciled in, then scratched off. Also, Social Security Death Index lists Ellen's birth place as Kentucky. She was born 3/21/1870 and died in California (after her second marriage to John MARTIN) on 4/29/1951. Ellen married first, John Edmond HILL, most likely in Missouri, the St. Louis area. John was born in Cork, Ireland in 1856 and came to America as a young man. John died 5/6/1916 in Webster Groves (where he resided with Ellen in a large Victorian home that was located on a road where the train ran in front of it [according to a picture]), and was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirkwood, MO. John and Ellen's children were: Stanley (died at age 7 and buried in same cemetery as John Edmond, Sr.) , John Edmond, Jr., Mable (Mae, married Henr! y W.
