have any information to share? If I could figure out where the records are kept for the cemetery in Index, MO that she and James were buried they may have her brothers or parents listed on the death funeral sheet. |

Looking for information on great
grandfather who was known by name George McGann or Henry McGann and was
married to Mary Elizabeth Washburn. He was actually born around
1844 to parents I think born in Canada emigrated from Ireland. He
had two brothers. He married in Kansas and his wife and children
settled in Oklahoma Territory as he left to work on MKT railroad and
trabeled (maybe even back to Canada for awhile) We have reason to
believe he died in or near Sedalia, Missouri in a Sedalia railroad hospital (maybe buried in or around Pettis County?) Catholic Church there confirmed services or a rosary at one time. If anyone has information about a cemetery, a headstone pic, or about him in Missouri I will appreciate contact |

Harrison was born 2 Mar 1840 in Missouri. Trying to find out name of first wife and mother of Harrison, Marion, and Josiah. First wife may have died around 1848 when Josiah was born in Iowa. James McNealy may have gone by "Ike". He was reported to have been born around 1809 in Tennessee. Both spellings of the surname have been found on census records for James' sons. The US census for 1900 shows the mother of these three men was born in Missouri. |

difficult to read it is as follows: line 23, Merideth, Mrs. J., white female, age 21-45; able to read and write line 24, Merideth, H.C., white male, age 10-18; able to read and write line 25, Merideth, Annie, white female, age 10-18; able to read and write line 26, Merideth, Grant, white male, age 10-18; able to read and write line 27, Merideth, Sarah, white female, age 10-18; able to read and write line 28, Merideth, Victor, white male, age 10-18; line 29, Merideth, Joseph, white male, age under 10; line 30, Merideth, Fred, white male, age under 10 line 31, Merideth, Benj. white male, age under 10 Notes: Ancestry.com has H.C. indexed as H.L. Merideth Ancestry.com has Grant indexed as Gurst Merideth Victor is a most interesting case: 1870 name is listed as James or Jane V, female 1876 name is listed as Victor, male 1880 name is listed as Victoria, female Victor or Victoria falls in birth order on all three census records. So is he a male or is she a female? Unfortunately I haven't found any record for Victor or Victoria post 1880. Albert G. Meredith, husband and father, to above family is not mentioned in this census. On the 1880 census there is another child, George Meredith, age 2 (born c1878). So, where is Albert? |

Brady, Lincoln Co., NE. She married Anderson Rowen 20 Oct 1867 in Worth Co., MO. It appears she was only 14 years old when she married. The above information came from the Rowen Family Bible. We are searching for more information about Richard and Mary A. Miller. |

Searching for Millers in Osage County who were slaveowners. My great great grandfather was Collin Miller and was brought here from Virginia. I don't know if he was sold here or if the Miller family migrated here from Virgnia. His son, Leander Miller was born in 1844 supposedly in Linn Missouri. I have checked the slave schedules but the ages don't add up |
| MILLER, Cely Ann | Counties: MERCER, GRUNDY, SULLIVAN, DAVIESS, JASPER |
| MILLER, Frederick French | my great grandfather's father. My
great grandfather was Seth Miller who was eventually Mayor of
Pasadena, CA in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Frederick may or may
not have married Seth's mother, I haven't been able to confirm
that. I only know that Frederick's daughter from a previous
marriage was Virginia Maskow, and Frederick was found living with
Virginia and her husband, Francis Maskow, and their children in the
1900 and 1910 censuses. Seth and his mother, Louisa Ehe Riehl
Miller, were listed in the 1900 and 1910 censuses as well. Both
Frederick and Louisa were in St. Louis, but not living together, and
neither of them stated that they were divorced, but stated they were
widowed or a widower and stated their first marriages in
years. I found the St. Louis Post-Dispatch obituary notice for
Frederick French Miller dated July 23rd, 1912, and the burial permit
was published on July 25th, 1912. I had originally thought that
Frederick had died when Seth was young (based on a biography of Seth
Miller in "The History of Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley" Vol. II,
1930 Edition), but that's obviously not the case. |

| MOSSBAGER, Louise | All I really know is her children's names, and that she was born in Illinois. Her mother may have been a Rumann. |
| MOSSBARGER | Eli Mossbarger who married Elizabeth Donan. They came from I think Hardin Co, Ky and settled in Carroll Co, Mo sometime around 1850-60. Thier son Thomas Jefferson Mossbarger is my gggrandfather. Eli seems to have been married 3 or 4 times but have only two wives names, my gggrandmother Elizabeth and his 1st wife Polly Garten |

| MOTER |
1870 David E. and wife Martha
Ward Moter lived in Jasper County, Jackson Twp. with their first
three children, Lincoln, George Edward, and William.
1870: Peter (age 80) and wife
Cynthia McClellan (age 74) Moter lived in Jasper County, Mineral
Twp.They were the parents of David E. Moter. Living with them was a 12
year old boy, Joshua Bennett, no relation given, born in VA 1858.
Trying to find information on Cynthia's death as Peter is shown in
California in 1875 without spouse. Also wondering what happened to
Joshua.
1870: Robbert (age 26) and wife
Emeline (age 26) Moter also lived in Jasper County, Mineral Twp. His
parents were Peter and Cynthia Moter, his brother David E. Moter.
Wondering if this Robbert is the Methodist Minister Robert C. Moter, a
Civil war veteran, whose death was reported in the Northern Idaho News,
Friday, July 14, 1939.
