This herd of Red Deer can trace their ancestry back to the time of Henry VIII

Here is an example of Derbyshire dry stone walling, done to celebrate the Queens jubilee

This hunting tower was built 1560, but as you saw the Red Deer on the earlier picture it was'nt very succesful

This is known as Queen Mary's bower where Mary Queen of Scots was alleged to have exersised when she was captive here
