We as Morris researchers are compiling our gedcom's to exchange with other Morris Researchers. Please read the following statement about the gedcom's. GEDCOM's: What is a GEDCOM one might ask? A GEDCOM is a standard file format which allows genealogist to exchange data between genealogy programs. Gedcom stands for Genealogical Data Communications, which was developed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). You can use GEDCOM's to transfer genealogy information from one genealogy program to another AS LONG as that program supports GEDCOM format.You will find the names of submitters along the data they have to share. You may click on their name to email them a message of request for sharing data. The submitter has the power to include any number of people, generations and fact fields. This is something which should be discussed between the owner of the GEDCOM and the requestee. It is important you thank them for their help. In the subject of your message you should put Morris Gedcom to ensure your message is not overlooked or accidentally deleted. The submitter holder) of these gedcom's has the right to refuse any request if it is not properly presented.
