June 2013 Updates

May 2013 Updates

1. John Thomas and Nancy Rebeca Forsythe Morrison Family photo and description was added.
2. John Thomas Morrison Family Album photos and descriptions were added.
3. Argument added to Joseph and Catherine Farr to suggest their ancestry is still unproven.  This couple is in generation #4 of the "Ancestors" link, couple #156/157.

March 2013 Updates

1. The William Riley Robertson Family Photo Album was added.
2. Updated The Stephen Robertson Family of Brown County, IN research page Tennessee Findings Pt. 1 to show the presence of the James Roberson family in Washington County, North Carolina as early as November 1779.

January 2013 Updates

1. The McKay family line has been completely reworked.  Existing data was updated with corrected and new information.  The ancestry was extended to one earlier generation with several new siblings identified and information added.
   This family can be found by going to the Surname Index, selecting "M", and selecting McKay.  This will direct you to William McKay and Margaret Loughery.
   Alternate path is to go to Ancestors, go to Generation 4, and scroll down to person number 184.
2. Updated information was found regarding death date and location for Mary Jane Forsyth and husband Rev. John Kidney.  That has been updated in Generation 4 within the Ancestors section, child number iii, under couple 130 and 131.
3. Updated information has been applied to the children of Lazarus Robertson and Jane Leeper.  This can be found in Generation 4 within the Ancestors section, under couple 144 and 145.
4. Updated information has been applied to John and Daniel, children of Stephen and Winnie Chitwood Robertson.  This can be found in Generation 5 within the Ancestors section, couple 288 and 289, children xii and xiii.
5. William Riley Robertson and children have been updated.  These changes can be found in Generation 3 within the Ancestors section, couple 72 and 73 and their children.
6. William Parker Robertson family has been updated.  These changes can be found in Generation 2 within the Ancestors section, couple 36 and 37 and their children.
7. William Roberson's Revolutionary War service was updated with DAR information.  These changes can be found by going to the Personal Research section and The Stephen Robertson Family of Brown County, IN, then the William (incl. Littleberry) page.

December 2012 Updates

1. A new Personal Research section was added - The Stephen Robertson Family of Brown County, IN.  This section deals with Stephen's possible ancestry and follows him from birth in Virginia to North Carolina, then Tennessee.
2. Stephen Robertson's genealogy post-1810 genealogy has been updated by reworking the first two paragraphs.
   This page can be found by going to the Surname Index, selecting "R", and selecting Robertson / Roberson.  This will direct you to James Roberson and Stephen is among the children listed.  Select the number in front of Stephen to go to his narrative.
   Alternate path is to go to Ancestors, go to Generation 5, and scroll down to person number 288.
3. James Robertson was replaced by James Roberson and Mary Fuqua has been added as parents of Stephen Robertson.
   This can be found by following the Surname Index described in Stephen above.

4. A new page has been added to the Personal Research section Forsyths of Wapello Co., IA - A New Line.  This addition is section 7 Addendum: Forsythe Reunion.  This article gives further credence to the Morrisons having married into this Forsyth family.
5. A new note submitted by Melody Black and regarding Tabitha McComas has been added to the Personal Research section The Black Family of Greenbrier County, WVa. and on the page Abraham Black in Greenbrier.
