He was a hard working man who retired from TU Electric where he was a lineman. He was a Christian who believed in God. He held membership in First Baptist Church of Paris. He had a great will to live and enjoyed his gardening, raising flowers, and fishing. A wonderful, good and understanding man who cared about and loved his family, he leaves his wife, Mary N. Landry O'Neal Musick whom he married Sep. 16, 1992, in Paris; two sisters, Martha Maxfield and Velma Wallace, both of Paris; two brothers, Robert Musick of Paris and Curtis Musick of Bowie; two step-children, Walter Watson of Fort Worth and Patricia Winn of Moyers, OK; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.' *Married Marjorie Elizabeth Glover.

Musick Jul. 5, 1941. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge for 43 years and served as its grand matron for 2 terms. She was secretary of the lodge for about 20 years. She had been president of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and was a representative for Stanley Home Products for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and its ladies adult Sunday school class. Surviving are her husband; several nieces and nephews; 4 sisters-in-law, Mrs. Rex 'Martha' Maxfield of Paris, Clara Mollenkopf of Greenville, Ruby Fleming and Velma Wallace, both of Paris; 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Musick of Paris and Curtis Musick of Bowie.' Melba Cooper Faulkner, 68, of Minneola, passed from life here on earth into eternal life on Wednesday Nov. 24, 2004 in Southlake. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. David Rucker officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Cemetery. The family receives friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. She was born June 24, 1936 in Paris, a daughter of Grady and Clara Musick Morgan. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse, and of the Methodist faith. She first married Lloyd Cooper, who preceded her in death. She married Bill Faulkner on December 22, 1990. In addition to her first husband, Lloyd, she was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Ray Morgan. With memories and love to treasure always and forever, she leaves behind her husband Bill; children Mary Farmer and Glen Cooper; step-children, Jerry, Joni, Roxanne, and Krystal; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Wanda Carr; a brother, Hoyt Morgan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Oct. 2, 1996, p. 8A: 'Judith Morgan Clendennen, 41, Rt. 1, Sumner, died Monday, Sep. 30, 1996, in Houston. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry and Dr. Mike Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 9, 1955, in Dallas, a daughter of Norman Ray and Nellie Ann Baker Morgan. She attended schools in Dallas, was a homemaker and loving mother, and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Paris. Surviving are two daughters, April Morgan Flowers and Annaleia Rae Clendennen of Sumner; a granddaughter, Kaly West of Sumner; her mother, Nellie Morgan of Sumner; five sisters, Claudia Sweet of Bastrop, Debra Briley of Paris, Pam Morgan, Susan Olson and Paula Morgan, all of Sugarland; a grandmother, Clara Mollenkopf of Paris; seven nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Ray Morgan, in Feb, 1995. Pallbearers will be Tony Fernandez, Daniel Fields, Craig Malone, Marc Williams, Kevin Ely and Freddy Smith Jr.' *Tombstone is inscribed, 'Judith Kay Clendennen.'
